At Shoukon, we offer a unique dining experience where one young chef from Ryotei "Kenya" is selected every three months to collaborate with our Head Chef, Kanako Tabuchi.
Each chef brings their own background and identity to the table, creating a story-driven menu that goes beyond just being "delicious." Even the most seasoned gourmets will find something special in the individual expression of our dishes.
The name "Shoukon" is derived from the phrase Keiko Shoukon in the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters). It reflects our philosophy of "studying the past to illuminate the present"—not merely following tradition, but evolving it for the world we live in today.
